Fire destroys White Center home

WHITE CENTER, Wash. — Fire destroyed a vacant home in White Center early Monday morning.

Flames and smoke shot from the home on Southwest Henderson Street and 16th Avenue as fire crews worked to put out that fire.

The fire was first reported at 5:15 a.m.

No one was inside the house at the time.

There was no immediate word on what caused the fire.
