• Crews battle North Seattle apartment fire


    SEATTLE - A fully involved fire ripped through a North Seattle apartment buildling Friday morning, said officials with the Seattle Fire Department.

    The fire happened at a four-story apartment building at 11753 15th Avenue Northeast.

    The building was evacuated, and there were no reported injuries.

    Firefighters controlled the fire just after 11 a.m.

    Officials said the fire damaged six units.

    The cause was determined to be an accidental, electrical fire from a motorcycle.

    The estimated loss in damages is at $250,000.
