Fire damages University Place nail salon

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. —

Investigators are determining the cause of a fire that damaged a University Place nail salon Saturday morning. 

At about 5:30 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire at 7626 27th Street West. 

When crews arrived, they found the roof of a nail salon to be fully involved. 

The fire was under control about an hour later. 

A woman in her mid 20s was treated for minor smoke inhalation and released from the scene. 

According to fire officials, the cause remains under investigation.
