Fire damages Kent mobile home

A fire damaged a Kent mobile home Saturday night, fire officials said.

KENT, Wash. — The fire happened at a mobile home in the 28400 block of 168th Avenue Southeast in the Pleasant Valley.

Kent and Maple Valley firefighters responded to the location after a report of a fire.

When crews arrived they found fire coming from one side of a double-wide mobile home along with smoke.

The fire spread quickly and firefighters were able to extinguish the flames.

The resident was not home during the time of the fire, and the Red Cross and family are assisting him.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
