Woman killed in hit-and-run near Aberdeen

NEAR ABERDEEN, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol is investigating what they believe to be a fatal hit-and-run just east of Aberdeen in Grays Harbor County.

The body of woman was discovered by a driver late Tuesday night on the side of Highway 12. A trooper reported that it looked like the woman had been hit by a vehicle.

The identity of the victim is being withheld while her family is notified.

Anyone with information about the woman's death is asked to call the state patrol.
