Fans grab last-minute Seahawks gear

SEATTLE — Sunday night's Seattle Seahawks 42-13 victory over the San Francisco 49ers has many fans making last-minute additions to their Christmas gift list.

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Graham Johnson spoke with a fan, Tom Lether, who hit the stores the day after the game.

“After watching that game last night, everybody wants a piece of this,” said Lether. “Got a strategy. Might take all day, but got to get it done.”

Lether stopped by multiple stores to buy Seahawks gear.

“Russell Wilson is the hottest tickets. The wide receiver gloves are so popular too,” said Lether.

Anders Dahl tried to buy his brother a hat like what Wilson wore on the sidelines Sunday night.

“The Russell Wilson thing is fun. We haven’t really had a guy like that here,” said Dahl. “They were sold out, I figured they might be, but figured I might check it anyway.”

Shannon Roth stopped by a team shop to buy her husband a Seahawks hat. She almost bought it last week, but decided to wait.

“Super excited, It was super exciting last night,” said Roth. “I thought, ‘What if they lose?’ That would be a real bummer if I came all the way down, and got him stuff, but now since they won yesterday, I have to get him something.”
