Family, friends remember Blanchet Bishop freshman killed in drive-by shooting

SEATTLE — A funeral service was held Saturday afternoon for Molly Conley, the Bishop Blanchet freshman who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Lake Stevens last Saturday night.

The service was held at the gymnasium at Conley’s high school, where Bishop Blanchet seniors graduated Friday night. She was honored during the ceremony.

Hundreds of family and friends gathered at the service. Conley’s brother, Johnny Conley, said she showed loyalty, toughness and love.

Conley’s friends also had her initials on their arms.

Conley was celebrating her 15th birthday when she was fatally shot. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and are reviewing surveillance videos from nearby businesses.
