EVERETT, Wash. - Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett is eliminating 34 employees working in billing, medical records and registration.
KIRO 7 Eyewitness News partner the Daily Herald in Everett, reported employees were given formal 60-day notices on Friday that their positions were ending.
The layoffs come in late June.
Thirteen workers have already found other jobs within Providence Health and Services.
The last round of layoffs at the hospital happened in September 2011, when 175 positions were eliminated through voluntary and involuntary job cuts, reported the Herald.
