Engine failure diverts plane from Seattle to Juneau

JUNEAU, Alaska — An Alaska Airlines flight from Seattle to Anchorage had to be diverted to Juneau because of engine failure.

There were 167 passengers on board the flight, which landed safely Sunday night.

Passengers aboard Flight 731 were re-booked on Monday morning flights to Anchorage.

Investigators are looking into what caused the engine to fail.
