BELLEVUE, Wash. — A pedestrian was struck by a car on 145th Place Southeast Sunday in Bellevue, police said.
Police said a 67-year-old man was walking in the crosswalk after 7 p.m. when he was hit between Southeast 24th Street and Southeast 18th Street.
On Monday, police said the man was in "very critical condition."
The man sustained life-threatening injuries, and he was rushed by medics to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, police said.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police closed the street for a few hours for the investigation.
