4.3 magnitude earthquake hits Central Washington

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit Central Washington Wednesday, but no serious injuries were reported.

The earthquake was 5.58 miles deep and began at 7:45 p.m., according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. The earthquake was centered 31.4 miles west of Chelan and 32.3 miles from Skykomish.
People posting on the United States Geological Survey’s webpage said they felt the earthquake as far away as Kent, Vashon, Mount Vernon and Olympia.  
Another 2.3 magnitude earthquake at 9:21 p.m. was centered 32.6 miles northwest of Wenatchee.
