SEATTLE — A driver hit a parked car Saturday morning and hit a gas line, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The incident happened around 7 a.m., when the driver was traveling north on Rainier Avenue South. The driver hit a parked vehicle on the side of the street and swerved into an apartment building at the corner of Rainier and South Kenyon.
The driver then hit a gas line, according to the fire department.
Fire fighters evacuated the apartment building until Puget Sound Energy crews could shut off the gas.
No injuries were reported.
