SEATTLE - Police tell KIRO 7 there was an officer involved shooting at an apartment complex at 23rd and E. John St. in Seattle Friday morning. That is on the eastern border of the Capitol Hill neighborhood and the western border of Seattle’s Central District.
Seattle police received a call that shots were being fired in the area. When police arrived, someone was shooting a rifle from an apartment window. Officers returned fire hitting the suspect.
We have now learned the suspect has died. No officers were hurt.
