Detectives seek help looking for missing woman, man in 2 separate cases

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. - Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in looking for two missing people in separate cases.

 

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 74-year-old Joanne E. Kay was reported missing on Nov. 16 after leaving Cascade Valley Hospital.

 

Detectives said Kay’s family believes she left the hospital either on foot or by taxi cab, but she did not return to her residence

 

Kay is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, 110 pounds, with thin gray hair and often wears a wig and jewelry with large stones.

 

The second person who disappeared is 56-year-old Mark Acord.

 

He was last seen Dec. 1, and investigators have found evidence that Acord may have been near the Stillaguamish River in the Granite Falls area.

 

Detectives describe Acord as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds, with gray hair, blue eyes, with multiple tattoos on his back, chest and arms.
