Deputy's vehicle hit by bullet

MASON COUNTY, Wash. —

A deputy’s vehicle was struck by a bullet Saturday afternoon in Mason County, according to the Washington State Patrol.

 

The incident happened on a logging road about 14 miles west of Shelton.

 

According to authorities, it is unknown at this time whether the vehicle was hit intentionally or possibly if the shot was hunting-related.

 

The deputy was not injured.
