KING COUNTY, Wash. - One person was killed in an apparent domestic violence stabbing at an apartment complex in Skyway overnight.
Deputies with the King County Sheriff's Office were called to the Arbor Woods Apartments in the 6200 block of South 129th Street at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday by a man who said his brother was not breathing.
Deputies and medics found a 31-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Cindi West said the victim’s girlfriend was taken into custody.
Police said three children were in the apartment at the time of the stabbing, but they were sleeping and were unaware of the stabbing.
