SEATTLE — A dead seal was found at a Ballard park Saturday morning.
The seal was found decapitated at the Golden Gardens Park by a person walking along the beach.
Investigators with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration were sent out to the location.
Officials told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News that even though the marine mammal was decapitated, it does not mean there was human interaction.
The Sno-King Marine Mammal Response Team collected samples for an investigation.
