DEA sending letters to area pot businesses

The Seattle office of the Drug Enforcement Agency sent letters to eleven marijuana businesses, saying they're operating in an area they shouldn't be.

The storefronts in question haven't been named but agents said those businesses are open within one thousand feet of schools or a so-called prohibited areas.

The Justice Department said those letters are part of an ongoing effort to stop marijuana trafficking.
