SEATTLE - The only survivor of last week's Seattle cafe shooting that left four people dead has been moved out of intensive care at Harborview Medical Center.
Harborview spokeswoman Susan Gregg said Leonard Meuse has been upgraded to satisfactory condition after being treated for gunshot wounds.
The Cafe Racer employee was hailed as a hero for phoning for help despite his injuries.
Last Wednesday’s shooting started at Café Racer in the University District, when Ian Stawicki shot five people inside, police said. Only one of the five survived. After that incident, Stawicki fatally shot a woman in downtown Seattle. Stawicki then turned the gun on himself and died Wednesday evening.
