Man wanted in sexual assault of teenage girl near Hawkins Middle School

BELFAIR, Washington — Police in Belfair have released a sketch of a man who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl near Hawkins Middle School last Tuesday.

The attacked happened sometime between 4:30 and 5 p.m. in the wooded area behind the school’s tennis courts, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office said.

It’s possible that the man’s first name is Brandon and is in his late teens or early 20s, police said. Officials described him as heavy set with brown hair and brown eyes, and 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall.
