SEATAC, Wash. - Deputies are searching for a man who rammed his car into a patrol cruiser, led police on a pursuit, then crashed into a house near SeaTac.
The King County Sheriff's Department said it all began with a traffic stop late Thursday night. A deputy got out to talk to the driver, who then rammed his BMW into the patrol car and fled.
The chase ended after the driver lost control of the car while trying to make a turn and crashed near South 120th Street and Roseberg Avenue South in Boulevard Park.
"He took off on foot after crashing the BMW," said Detective Steven Hager. "K-9 was called out and a track was started."
The deputy who pulled the driver over was not hurt in the first crash.
The K-9 search did not find the driver.
