OLYMPIA, Washington — Police in Thurston County have opened a homicide investigation after a motorist discovered a partially decomposed body off State Route 510 on Tuesday.
The body was found near the Red Wind Casino after a motorist stopped to use "nature's facilities," Sheriff's Office spokesman Greg Elwin told the Nisqually Valley News reported.
Elwin said the case would remain a homicide investigation unless evidence suggested otherwise.
