Crews rescue woman after rollover crash in Poulsbo

POULSBO, Wash. — A 51-year-old woman was rescued Saturday afternoon after her vehicle rolled over and started a fire, according to officials with the Poulsbo Fire Department.

Crews with the fire department and North Kitsap Fire and Rescue responded to a single-vehicle rollover collision that happened around 1:40 p.m.

Before crews arrived to the scene, the Washington State Patrol extinguished the fire.

A Hansville woman was trapped inside of a Subaru SUV, and firefighters extricated her and took her to Harrison Hospital. She went in with minor injuries.

Highway 307 on Bond Road near Rova was completely shut down for 10 minutes for the collision. It was opened to one lane and alternating traffic for about 45 minutes.
