Crashes snarl traffic on I-5 in Everett, I-90 in Seattle


SEATTLE - A crash involving a car and a pedestrian in Everett and a rolled over semi in Seattle snarled traffic during the morning commute.

 The crash in Everett occurred on southbound Interstate 5 at 73rd Street where a car struck a man in his 30s. 

 He is in critical condition.  

 Traffic is backed up about 7 miles and four left lanes are blocked. 

 On westbound Interstate 90, a Corvette and a hay truck were involved in a crash east of I-5.

 The hay truck overturned and caused the closure of all lanes.  The lanes reopened around 7 a.m.

 The driver of the Corvette was not hurt.
