LACEY, Wash. —

A baby coyote was rescued from a storm drain Wednesday by Lacey officials.

The city official rescued a pup from a drain near Britton Parkway.

Photos of the pup’s rescuer were posted to the city’s Facebook page.

The rescuer found three coyote pups in a storm drain; he saw the mother close by.

He put the safe pups along a line of trees -- neighboring woods.
