Clerk pistol whipped in robbery

SEATTLE — A 7-Eleven clerk was pistol whipped during an armed robbery in the 7200 block of Sand Point Way NE just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect was wearing a mask and fled the scene. At least one Seattle Police K-9 unit was trying to track the man down.
The clerk was taken to an area hospital.
