MAPLE VALLEY, Wash. - Video from the King County Sheriff's Office Guardian One helicopter showed how deputies use teams on the ground and in the air to track down suspects.
The Sheriff's Office helicopter flew over Maple Valley early Sunday morning after a woman called 911 as a burglar was breaking into her home.
The video showed that the helicopter was the first to arrive at the scene as three suspects were spotted fleeing in a car.
The pilot directed deputies on the ground, and after a spike strip was deployed, the car was stopped, video showed.
The driver, an Everett man who was wanted on a felony warrant, surrendered.
Two Renton men who were passengers in the car ran into the woods, but officers quickly tracked them down.
