SEATTLE - A restaurant in lower Queen Anne was burglarized Saturday morning and police are looking for two men.

The burglary happened before 4:30 a.m. in the 100 block of First Avenue North at Plaza Garibaldi.

According to police, a witness told officers they saw two men breaking into the restaurant.

When officers arrived, the two men were gone.

During an investigation, it appeared that the burglars were attempting to steal alcohol from the bar area of the restaurant.

Police said it also appeared that the burglars could not get the doors open so they tried to break the lower door windows from the inside with a rock or brick. A chair was used to break the upper window of the door.

Police described the two men as one wearing a baseball cap and dark clothing and the other wearing a knit cap and dark clothing.

Detectives will do a follow-up investigation.
