Two injured after car hit by train

Medics were called to a car-train accident in Fife just before 7pm Thursday night.
A late 80's Honda was crossing the tracks at 78th Ave. E in Fife when it was hit by a Union Pacific freight train going about 40 miles per hour. There are no railroad bars in that rural intersection.
The two passengers of a Honda, men in their late 20's to early 30's were treated by medics and will be transported to Tacoma General.
One is critical condition and one in serious. Tacoma fire tells KIRO-7 both are expected to live.
