Body of man found in wooded area of Redmond

REDMOND, Wash. — Redmond police said the body of a man has been found in a wooded area in Bear Creek Park off Redmond Way.

Officers received a report of an unconscious man, and CPR was performed, but the man was dead when officers arrived.

Police said the body was there overnight, and was found near an area where homeless people are known to live, but it is not known if the man is homeless.

Police said the victim may be a Lynnwood man who was born in 1986.

Investigators are not sure yet how the man died but said they have found no signs of foul play.
