Body found in White River identified as missing Auburn man

AUBURN, Wash. — A hiker found a body floating face up in the White River near Game Farm Park on Friday afternoon.

The hiker alerted a park ranger, who then called 911.

The male body was recovered by the Valley Regional Fire Authority on the evening, and the King County Medical Examiner took custody of the body.

Officials with the Auburn Police Department later released the identity of the body as Kenneth Neil Collins.

Police said there were no signs of foul play.

According to police, Collins was reported missing Jan. 16 by the manager of the Windsor Park Apartments in Auburn.

Officers searched the area for Collins, but could not locate him.
