MONROE, Wash. - A body was found outside of a burned-out vehicle Saturday afternoon in Monroe, said officials with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 3:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 7300 block of Woods Creek Road to a report of a suspicious circumstances incident.
Deputies said a person called 911 to report a burned-out vehicle that had been found on private property with a dead person found outside the vehicle.
It is unknown at this time if there is a connection between the vehicle and the property it was found on.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate the incident.
