Blue Angels to fly over Seattle Monday


SEATTLE - Officials with the Blue Angels said their jets will fly over Seattle Monday afternoon.

The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron will fly over the west side of Seattle, passing the Space Needle, at about 12:30 p.m.

The Blue Angels are in Seattle for Seafair this upcoming weekend.

The Interstate 90 Bridge will close five times this week for their practices and performances.

The first closures are Thursday from 9:45 a.m. to noon and again at 1:15 to 2:40 p.m.

Friday’s closure is from 12:15 to 2:40 p.m.

Then the bridge will shut down for weekend performances from 12:15 p.m. to 2:40 p.m.
