SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. - A bicyclist was killed Saturday morning in a collision near Woodinville, authorities said.
The crash happened in the 6500 block of 240th Street Southeast.
According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the location after a report of a fatal collision between a bicyclist and a car.
Authorities said the bicyclist, believed to be in his 60s, died at the scene from his injuries when he struck an oncoming vehicle.
The identity of the man and the cause of death will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Authorities said speed and alcohol were not considered factors in the collision.
