REDMOND, Wash. — Redmond police are investigating after staff at the Bella Bottega movie theater found a bomb threat note Friday night.
The threat was found in the bathroom and staff evacuated the busy movie theater. Police arrived and sealed off the area. After an exhaustive search that including the State Patrol’s K9 Unit, no explosive devices were found.
Police said as of right now it does not appear the threat is related to the notes found in the bathrooms at Redmond and Juanita High Schools earlier this week.
After police completed their search at around 10:00 PM, no items of a suspicious nature were found. Theater staff returned to the building but the theater remained closed throughout the rest of the night.
