Bail hearing held for gunman in downtown Seattle robbery, shooting

SEATTLE — Bail was set Saturday for the masked gunman who robbed a jewelry store in downtown Seattle on Friday.

Edmond Maynor’s bail was set at $150,000.

Police said Maynor robbed the Express Jewelers in Westlake Mall fled the scene.

When he ran out of the mall, he passed the Mayflower Park Hotel, where Roberto Sandoval was working.

Sandoval was shot in the arm during the takedown of Maynor. Good Samaritans also pinned Maynor down.

Sandoval was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
