Armed man robs Georgetown pet supply store


SEATTLE - Officers are looking for a man who robbed a Georgetown pet supply store at gunpoint Tuesday evening.

The robbery happened at 6:20 p.m. at A Dog’s Dream in the 5900 block of Airport Way South.

Police said the man went inside the business, pointed a handgun at a woman and demanded money.

The armed man removed all of the cash from the store’s register, and told the victim to turn around or he would shoot her, police said.

The man fled the scene in unknown direction, and remains at large.

Nobody was injured during the robbery. Police described the man as black, in his 40s, 6-feet 1-inch tall, last seen wearing a black knit cap and dark jacket.

The robbery remains as an ongoing investigation.
