Amber Alert canceled for 8-year-old Kent girl

KENT, Wash. — An Amber Alert for an 8-year-old Kent girl was canceled late Friday night, police said.

Anh Bao Duffy-Nguyen was reunited with her mother and is safe and unharmed.

Authorities issued the alert Friday for Anh, who was taken by her father, Hung Bao Nguyen, Wednesday morning.

Police said Nguyen returned Anh to the Kent area and left her in the care of a known person. She was then reunited with her mother.

After dropping Anh off, Nguyen left the area. His location is unknown at this time.

Detectives are still searching for Nguyen and want to bring him in for questioning. He is wanted for harassment, second-degree arson and assault.

Police said Nguyen drives a 1998 black Ford F-150 with Washington license plate B27504V.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
