Missing, endangered person advisory issued for Royal City teen

An Amber Alert that was activated Saturday afternoon for a 16-year-old girl in Royal City has been changed to a missing and endangered person advisory, authorities said.

ROYAL CITY, Wash. — Monica Helberg was last seen  Wednesday at 8254 Road East Southwest in Grant County.

The teen is described as white, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be 5 feet and 7 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.

Troopers said the girl is believed to be in danger and may be in the company of 22-year-old Miles Moncada, who is described as a white man with brown eyes, brown hair, 6 feet and 1 inch tall and 165 pounds.

According to authorities, there is a restraining order against Moncada.

The two may be traveling in a 2010 yellow Ford Focus with California plate number 7AME520.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Monica is urged to call 911 or the Grant County Sheriff's Office at 509-682-8090.
