Activists protest outside Tukwila Boeing offices

TUKWILA, Wash. — Jewish Voice for Peace and Queers Against Israeli Apartheid protesters blocked the main entrance of the Tukwila offices of Boeing Monday morning.

The building contains the offices for Boeing Defense, Space and Security.

According to a news release, the protest is to “stand against Israel's massacre of the Palestinians in Gaza and demand accountability from the corporations that are profiting off this war on civilians.”

Nine activists locked together to block the main entrance.  At the same time, forty other members staged what they called a silent “die in,” lying across the sidewalk representing the Palestinians killed in Israel's latest offensive in Gaza.

Boeing Defense, Space and Security is a unit responsible for weapons manufacturing.
