SEATTLE - Flames raced up the mast of a 50-foot fishing boat that caught fire just west of the Ballard Bridge.
According to Seattle fire, crews found the boat burning at Fisherman's Terminal when they arrived just after 4 a.m. Friday.
Crews were able to put the fire out within four minutes.
It does not appear that anyone was on the boat when it caught fire.
The Coast Guard was contacted, but it does not appear that there is any fuel leakage from the vessel.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
