PUYALLUP, Wash. - Five teens were hurt Thursday morning in a collision on State Route 167 near Puyallup, said the Washington State Patrol.
The crash happened at 3 a.m. on the northbound lanes of SR 167 at 50th Avenue East.
According to the State Patrol, a vehicle veered off the road and rolled onto its top.
Inside the vehicle were five teen girls between the ages of 15 to 17 who appeared to have been wearing seat belts.
The State Patrol said the teens were hurt but not seriously injured.
Troopers said alcohol may have been involved in the crash, and the driver as taken into custody for vehicular assault.
