38 Tacoma students suspended for car prank vandalism

TACOMA, Wash. — What started as a prank has ended with 38 students being suspended from Stadium High School in Tacoma.

Several of the students involved say the stunt was all in fun and involved things like shaving cream and water balloons.

But a district spokeswoman said the students each got two-day suspensions and some cars  were damaged when they were painted with shoe polish or when students jumped on the hoods.

The pranksters - reportedly juniors - picked on the cars of sophomores and then discussed their exploits on social media.
