2 teens arrested in Light Rail assault


SEATTLE - Detectives have arrested two of five teens suspected of assaulting a man on a Link Light Rail train last week.

According to authorities, a Seattle man, Damien Villareal, boarded the Light Rail train from Sea-Tac Airport and was heading to Seattle on March 20.

At the Othello stop, a group of at least five young men got on the train.

Witnesses told police the group started picking a fight with a passenger who had asked them to stop smoking.

Villareal got up to help the passenger and he was repeatedly punched and kicked by five people.

Two of the five teens were arrested and detectives are seeking three more suspects.

Detectives will continue to investigate the incident.
