MUKILTEO, Wash. — A home was destroyed by a fire Saturday afternoon in Mukilteo, said fire officials.
The fire happened in the 11000 block of 55th Avenue west around 4:15 p.m.
When firefighters arrived, a two-story home was engulfed in flames.
Officials with the Mukilteo Fire Department told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News the homeowner tried to extinguish the flames but could not.
Fire officials ruled the fire as accidental.
The fire caused $180,000 in damage.
