Police investigate double homicide after men found dead in car

SEATTLE — Two men were found dead early Monday at 39th Avenue South and South Kenyon Street  in Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood.

Police said a patrol officer saw broken glass next to a maroon Jaguar and found the bodies of the two men inside around 6 a.m.
Officers said both the men were shot in the head.
It is not known how long the men had been dead.

Detectives from the Seattle police homicide and assault unit and crime scene investigators responded and began their investigation.

The car where the men were found has been towed away so it can be combed for evidence.
Officers canvassed the neighborhood talking with neighbors to determine if anyone might have seen or heard anything unusual.
Neighbor Khanh Ly said he heard something that sounded like gunshots.
“Around 3 or 4 a.m. this morning, I heard gunshots --  pow pow,--  you know, like that,” said Ly.
Ly said he looked outside but didn’t see anyone.
