Police: Driver passes out, strikes 2 with vehicle

TUKWILA, Wash. — A woman passed out while driving Friday evening and hit two women with her vehicle, according to the Bellevue Police Department.

The incident happened at 5:40 p.m. in a parking lot in front of the LA Fitness on 148^th and Main Street.

Police said a woman in her 40s  was driving and passed out at the wheel. She drove into two women who were in front of the building.

One of the women hit was 27 years old and was taken to Harborview Medical Center with trauma injuries. The other woman hit was in her mid-20s and was taken to Overlake Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver was transported to Overlake Hospital, but her condition is unknown at this time.

The incident is currently under investigation.
