2 hurt in Mason County rollover crash

MASON COUNTY, Wash. — Two men were injured Saturday afternoon after a vehicle rolled over on State Route 101 south of Shelton, according to Washington State Patrol.

The incident happened in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 at Milepost 108, said state troopers.

According to state patrol, the 42-year-old man was driving at a high rate of speed, and rolled over after passing a lane.

The vehicle landed on its top when it came to rest.

The driver was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition and the 27-year-old passenger was taken to Mason General.

Both northbound lanes of Highway 101 were blocked during that time.
