2 in custody after Snohomish County pursuit

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. - Two men are in custody are a police pursuit Friday morning near Everett, said officials with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 10 a.m., a woman reported that she was following her stolen vehicle on Lowell-Larimer Road.

When deputies located the vehicle, they tried to stop it with a pit maneuver but were unsuccessful.

One of the deputies who tried to stop the vehicle had minor injuries and his patrol car was damaged.

Authorities tried to stop the vehicle again by using a spike strip, but were unsuccessful.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the pursuit ended when the vehicle hit a parked patrol car near the intersection of 129th Place and Southeast and the Bothell-Everett Highway. 

Two men, believed to be in their 20s, were taken into custody.
