Seahawks fans invited to Wednesday rally at Seattle Center

All Seahawks fans are invited to the Seattle Center Wednesday afternoon for a rally and celebration for the team’s trip to the Super Bowl.

SEATTLE — The rally will be at the Fisher Pavilion and South Fountain Law from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The rally will also be streamed live on Seahawks.com.

Mayor Ed Murray, members of the Sea Gals, Blue Thunder, Blitz and Seahawks alumni will make an appearance and the top 40 cover band Curb Appeal will perform live.

Officials with the team said immediately following the rally, the Space Needle is asking fans to participate in the “From the Needle to New Jersey” flag signing and relay.

The 25-feet-by-35-feet-flag, flown atop the Space Needle for every playoff run the team has made in recent years, will be put on display for fans to sign their well-wishes to the team. This will be from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Seattle Center will provide free round-trip transportation on the Monorail from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for fans wearing Seahawks apparel.
